Zeneta & Zaire's Book Club is dedicated to teaching children about diversity and inclusion through the power of books and education. By collecting and distributing books that focus on these themes, we are showing Black children that they can be main characters - in books, in life, in careers, and in our communities. We are encouraging them to learn about legendary African Americans who have blazed a trail in history, and who they can aspire to be like in their own lives. We believe that putting these books in the hands of children of all races and identities will act not only as a mirror, but as a window to the diversity that exists within our world. It is our belief that children will take charge of changing the hearts and minds of those who do not see the benefit of building relationships with people who do not look like them. The landscape of America is vibrant and diverse, and we are doing our part in making sure that what children read reflects that.
