High School Girls Flag Football

The Bishop Kearny and Orchard Park High School Flag Football teams scrimmaged at halftime of the Sept. 8 Buffalo Bills game. The teams also had the chance to meet 2024 International Federation of American Football - Flag Football World Champions Vanita Krouch and Megan Majors, of the U.S. Women's National Flag Football team, who served as honorary captains.

The Buffalo Bills hosted a youth Nike 11-On flag football event on August 2nd at ADPRO Sports Training Center.

The Buffalo Bills hosted the third annual Tackle Nike 11-On event on July 13th at Highmark Stadium with 12 varsity football programs from Buffalo and Rochester regions in partnership with Nike and USA Football. The event included 7on7 games, a Lineman Challenge and Skills competitions including a 40-yard dash, QB long throw and Lineman water jug race. This year's winners were Sweet Home High School, congratulations to the Panthers!

Sean McDermott and players greeted the Bishop Kearney and Clarence High School Girls Flag Football teams at Buffalo Bills Mandatory Minicamp.

The Bishop Kearney and Clarence varsity girls flag football teams visited practice and met Bills players such as Dion Dawkins, Chase Claypool, and Keon Coleman. Bishop Kearney recently won the first-ever Division 2 New York State Championship and Clarence won the regional championship for division 1.

Bishop Kearney defeated Brewster 13-2 and advances to the Division 2 State Championship game tomorrow at 1:30pm against Sayville!

Clarence lost their semi-final game to Scarsdale, 33-19. Bishop Kearney defeated Brewster 13-2 in their semi-final and won the Division 2 State Championship game, 39-20, against Sayville!

Bishop Kearney defeated Sayville 39-20 in the inaugural Division II flag football state championship on Sunday, June 2, at Cortland High School

Buffalo Bills Dion Dawkins, Dawson Knox, DaQuan Jones, and General Manager Brandon Beane wish the Clarence and Bishop Kearney Girls Flag Football teams good luck in the State Championship Tournament.

Watch as Bishop Kearney, Pioneer, Clarence, and Penfield high schools faced off in the regional round of the girls flag football New York State Public High School Athletic Association playoffs. Bishop Kearney defeated Pioneer 26-25 and Clarence defeated Penfield 32-30. Both Bishop Kearney and Clarence will move onto the New York State semi-finals.

The Buffalo Bills hosted the Section VI Girls Flag football championship at Highmark Stadium. Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins and safety Damar Hamlin stopped by to support the athletes and present the championship trophy.

The Buffalo Bills hosted their annual flag football event in conjunction with UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and the NYSPHSAA. The event featured over 60 schools from Section VI, Section V and celebrated the first season that Girls Flag Football will be a high school state championship sport in New York.

Sixty teams flocked to Orchard Park to compete and practice together. 

The Buffalo Bills hosted the High School Girls Flag Football Kickoff this weekend for 60 teams from Western New York to the Finger Lakes Region in partnership with UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.

In the spring of 2024, The New York State High School Athletic Association will host the first ever High School Girls Flag Football State Championship game. In celebration of this historic event, the Buffalo Bills invited High School Girls Flag Football players from Cheektowaga High School and Lackawanna High School to the divisional round playoff game on January 21^st at Highmark Stadium to hold the introduction banners on the field as the Bills starting players run out from the tunnel and to participate in a halftime flag football scrimmage.

Micah Hyde, Siran Neal, Kaiir Elam, and Trent Sherfield hung out at the Section VI Girls Flag Football Tournament at the ADPRO training center.

A total of 44 teams from Section V and Section VI were represented at the ADPRO Sports Training Center

On Saturday, April 22nd and Sunday, April 23rd the Buffalo Bills in partnership with UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine hosted a High School Girls Flag Football event in celebration of the first official season of HS Girls Flag in our community. The event included flag football instructional drills and practice scrimmages supervised by RCX Sports (operators of NFL Flag Football), giveaways, and the opportunity for team photos inside the Bills facilities with Billy Buffalo and Bills players.

The Buffalo Bills hosted a Girls Flag Football Clinic at the Youngs Sportsplex in Welland, Ontario in partnership with the Niagara Regional Minor Football organization, Football Ontario and NFL Canada. The clinic drills were supervised by Bills Alumni Marlon Kerner and football coaches from Colleges and Universities throughout Canada.

On Saturday, April 23, the Buffalo Bills hosted our first High School Girls Flag Football Kickoff Event in partnership with NFL Flag and the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). Teams from 19 schools in the Western New York region attended the event, which included appearances by Bills players, Tremaine Edmunds, Dion Dawkins, and Siran Neal.
