1. Line 'em up:If Cordy Glenn, Richie Incognito, Eric Wood, John Miller and Jordan Mills start, it'll be the first time since 1987-88 (LT Will Wolford, LG Jim Ritcher, C Kent Hull, RG Tim Vogler, RT Joe Devlin) the Bills have started the same offensive line in consecutive Kickoff Weekend games.
2. New on the block:Sean McDermott is one of five new head coaches in the league this season. Joining him as first-time NFL head coaches are Broncos coach Vance Joseph, Chargers coach Anthony Lynn, Rams coach Sean McVay and 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan.
3. Home cooking:The Bills have an all-time home record of 32-24 against the New York Jets. Buffalo will be looking to beat New York for the fourth time in the last five matchups at New Era Field.
4. Active leader:LeSean McCoy enters the 2017 season sixth in career rushing among active players with 8,954 yards.
5. Double trouble:LeSean McCoy was one of just five running backs last season to rush for over 1,000 yards and have 50 or more receptions. McCoy had 1,267 rushing yards and 50 catches in 2016, with a chance to have an even higher reception total in Rick Dennison's offense.
6. Playmaker:McCoy also ranked second in the league in 2016 among running backs with 11 rushes of 20 yards or more. Only Dallas' Ezekiel Elliott had more (14).
7. Ageless wonder:At age 33, Bills LB Lorenzo Alexander became just the sixth player in NFL history to record his first career double-digit sack season at age 33 or older.
8. Straight 20:Stephen Hauschka needs a field goal Sunday for his 20th consecutive game with a field goal – currently (at 19) has the longest active streak in the NFL.
9. Good with OT:Extra time is just fine with the Bills. Since overtime was instituted in 1974, Buffalo has posted the fifth-best overtime record in the NFL with a mark of 20-15.
10. Air fare:The Bills have a couple of long flights this season to Los Angeles and Kansas City to face the Chargers and Chiefs respectively, and those two trips are back-to-back. But all things considered Buffalo's total air miles this season are low. The Bills rank just 22nd in total air miles to travel in 2017 with 13,272. That's only about 40 percent of the miles the L.A. Rams will travel this year (32,600).
11. Stiff schedule:Buffalo has the fifth-toughest strength of schedule this season as they'll face opponents with a combined winning percentage of .561 from last year. The Bills have seven games against teams with better than .500 records in 2015, and 10 of last year's playoff teams.
