My Most Memorable Bills Moment
There were several. Here are two:
1. Mike Stratton's "hit heard around the world" (or at least in Western N.Y.) that helped the Bills win its first championship against San Diego.
2. The "Comeback" against Houston since it revealed the character of the team.
My All-Time Greatest Bills Player
Jim Kelly. He brought excitement and respectability to the team and the city of Buffalo. He also became part of the Western New York community and never lost himself in his star power.
My Favorite Bills Player
Without his personal problems, it would be Marshawn Lynch. He is still young and from one of the toughest parts of Oakland that you can imagine. Hopefully, he can find his way. He is a good kid.
Special Comment
My dad bought season tickets for me and him when I was only eight years-old. I remember walking into War Memorial Stadium for my first Bills game in 1960 and was given an envelope with black and white photos of all the Bills players. It was quite a thrill. Although I now live in San Diego, I have kept my tickets and try to make it back for a game whenever I can. My nephew usually goes to the games with my Dad.
