3. Cardinal Connections

Center Eric Wood and Linebacker Preston Brown (who was selected in the 3rd round of the 2014 NFL Draft) both attended Louisville and know Miller. Wood and Brown are thrilled the Bills drafted Miller.

"I am very happy, he's a great dude," Wood said. "He's a good, tough, physical o-lineman."

Miller has nice things to say about Wood as well:

"I definitely look up to a guy like that," Miller said of the former Louisville standout drafted in the 2009 first round," Miller said. "He was on that (2007) Orange Bowl team. A great guy and definitely a hard-working guy."

4. Florida pipeline continues

With the addition of Miller, the Bills now have 10 players from the state of Florida. He joins fellow Florida natives - LB Nigel Bradham, S Deon Broomfield, CB Mario Butler, DB Jonte Green, LB Randell Johnson, CB Nickell Robey, LS Garrison Sanborn, CB Rod Sweeting, WR Deonte Thompson, and WR Sammy Watkins.

6. Combine

He measured in at 6-foot-2, 303 pounds. Combine stats: 40: 5.33 seconds. Bench press: 29 reps. Vertical: 27 inches. Broad jump: 8 feet, 8 inches. 3-cone drill: 8.20 seconds. 20 yard shuttle: 4.75 seconds. Miller is a guard with four years of starting experience and could bring that to the NFL. He is a big, aggressive player with a strong punch and nasty demeanor. Miller brings extra value due to positional versatility, showing the ability to play both guard positions.

"From a technical standpoint, Miller exhibits good bend in his lower half and is rarely overwhelmed as he keeps his feet moving, resets without wasted motion, and establishes good extension to keep defenders out of his frame. Another mid-round type of prospect who's durability and consistency could make him a terrific pro." - Derek Stephens, NFLDraftScout.com
