On stopping the run…

Our defense is a one gap defense. Everybody's got to do their job and this week obviously they'll run a lot. That's going to be our attitude, to stop it.

On not seeing familiar faces in the locker room…

I'm not worried about it. We've got a lot of good, athletic guys that can run. That's what kind of defense we're playing. A defense that can run and like I said our defense is built on speed. That's what we got to do is run. I'm not worried about it.

On getting to the opposing quarterback and what he hopes to improve on…

I always want to consistently get better. As far as sack numbers, I always want to be double digits. That's my goal. I want to have consistent rushes. Being able to change and not have lows when I have bad games. Try to build a deep rush against everybody I go against as many times as I can. That's my goal.

On if Chris Kelsay's numbers will go up…

He's definitely been better. He understands what he has to do to get sacks, what his strengths are, what his weaknesses are. I think as long as you're athletically able to do it you'll get better as the years go on.

On if it is a perception of poor rush defense…

Everybody feels it's the inside guys that stop the run, but this is a one gap defense. Everybody has a gap from linebackers to safeties. If one guy messes up, it's going to be bad. As long as everybody's in their gap we should be fine because like I said you don't have to be big to play in this defense.

On how good of a fit Travis Henry is with Denver…

They obviously cut a lot so he's going to have areas where he can crease people and is a hard runner. He's strong. He's going to stiff-arm people, run people over. He does that on his own. With the scheme that they run, he's going to be even better. You've got to get a bunch of guys to him and wrap up because like I said, he is a strong back.

On if Henry ran angry with Tennessee last year against Buffalo…

I'm sure he does, but it's a long game. You can't run angry the whole game. Eventually you'll get tired. I think this year he has extra motivation. At the end of the day he's just trying to do his job.

On if Henry got a raw deal in Buffalo with drafting Willis McGahee…

I don't know what his deal was. You'd have to ask him that. That's part of this business and that sometimes how it works. I think he's happy with what he's got now so it worked out for him.

On Jay Cutler…

He can throw the ball. He's a lot like (Jake) Plummer as far as being able to scramble pretty good and he runs.

On how he prepares to take a lot more snaps on defense…

That's something I won't know how it really works out until the game. Hopefully well be able to rotate a little bit because we want to play fast. We'd rather have guys that haven't played in it more than me or Chris being tired. I think we're going to have to rotate regardless. As the season goes, we get the guys back, we'll definitely be better off. It'll be a little bit of a gut check I guess.
