Orchard Park, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced that the 13th annual Kids Day Game will be celebrated Friday, August 16, 2013 at the home preseason game vs. the Minnesota Vikings. Kids Day activities begin at 3:30 p.m., game time is 7:00 p.m.
The Kids Day Game will feature youth themed tailgating, an exclusive gameday giveaway, interactive games, face painting, Buffalo Jills Cheerleaders, Billy Buffalo, as well as post-game fireworks.
Kids Day is presented by BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, the Official Health Plan of the Buffalo Bills, Kiss 98.5 and WKBW-TV, the official TV station of the Buffalo Bills.
A youth football scrimmage will take place at halftime during the Kids Day Game in support of USA Football's Heads Up Football movement which focuses on coaching education, heads up tackling, concussion awareness and proper equipment fitting. Youth football players and coaches within certified Heads Up Football organizations will also participate in Stampede Row during Buffalo Bills pre-game player introductions and stand alongside Bills players during the singing of the National Anthem.
Kids Day tickets are available for purchase now through the Buffalo Bills ticket office and Ticketmaster. Tickets for children 14 years of age and under are only $15.00.
The Bills have a nine-game schedule at Ralph Wilson Stadium this season, opening the 2013 regular season at home Sunday, September 8 at home against the Patriots and Sunday, September 15 against the Panthers. The Bills will play one primetime game Thursday, October 3 against the Browns. Sunday, December 1, the Bills will play one home game at Rogers Centre in Toronto as part of the Bills in Toronto.
