The Bills made an addition to their offensive line ranks on Wednesday, as they were awarded the claim for rookie OL Ike Boettger.
Boettger spent the entire offseason, training camp and the preseason with the Bills after signing with the club as an undrafted rookie out of Iowa.
He spent most of training camp and the preseason as the team's second string right guard. However, Boettger was released during final cuts.
The lineman was claimed off waivers by the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Boettger was just released by Kansas City yesterday.
The addition of Boettger gives the Bills a total of 10 offensive linemen on the active roster.
To make room on the roster the Bills released CB Ryan Lewis.
