Bills Hall of Fame tickets go on sale

The Pro Football Hall of Fame has a very limited number of sideline and end zone tickets for sale to the 2009 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game featuring the Tennessee Titans and Buffalo Bills. These tickets will be made available for sale to the public on Tuesday, April 14, 2009.

The August 9, 2009 Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. ET start. Tickets may be purchased online through profootballhof.com or by calling 800-913-9788 beginning at 11:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday, April 14, 2009.

The cost is $55 for sideline and $45 for end zone seats. There is a limit of ten tickets per household. An immediate sellout of the available tickets is expected. All tickets are non-refundable and will be mailed on June 26th, 2009.

Enshrinement tickets and fan packages with tickets to enshrinement, game, and other Enshrinement Festival events are also available.

The Hall of Fame Game, played the day after the induction of the Hall of Fame's newest class of enshrinees, caps a multi-day festival in Canton. The Class of 2009 –wide receiver Bob Hayes, guard Randall McDaniel, defensive end Bruce Smith, linebacker Derrick Thomas, owner/founder Ralph Wilson, Jr., and defensive back Rod Woodson – will be formally enshrined during a ceremony held the night before the game.

This year, the Hall of Fame Game matchup marks a celebration of the American Football League's 50th Anniversary Season. The Titans, who began as the Houston Oilers, and the Bills were original members of the AFL that played its first season in 1960. In 1970, the NFL and the AFL merged into one league with two conferences, the AFC and NFC.
