The 2013 NFL draft takes center stage later this week, but the Bills were busy hosting a free agent to possibly fill another positional hole before the league's show at Radio City begins Thursday night.

Buffalo is playing host to veteran free agent linebacker Karlos Dansby. Set to enter his 10th NFL season Dansby (6-4, 250) was a surprise release of the Miami Dolphins back on March 13th. The Bills AFC East rival cut Dansby after they signed free agent LB Dannell Ellerbe to a big contract a day prior.
Dansby is coming off a very productive 2012 season in which he led the Dolphins with a career-high 134 tackles and also added a sack. The veteran linebacker has also been remarkably durable having missed just eight games over his first nine NFL seasons.
Dansby has experience and still offers very good athleticism for a 31-year old defender. An instinctive player who reacts quickly, Dansby is known as a physical defender. Known also for his consistent play, Dansby is familiar with 3-4 defensive systems having played in one for the Dolphins the last three seasons.Â
