The Buffalo Bills and ELERTS Corporation, a leading provider of mobile communication for emergency response, have entered into an agreement to provide the ELERTS Stadium app to Bills fans during the 2014 season.

ELERTS Stadium™ is a smartphone app available for iPhone and Android phones that allows fans and facility staff to immediately communicate safety concerns, suspicious activity, or irresponsible fan behavior to security and event personnel. ELERTS Stadium allows fans to discretely send a photo, with the camera flash automatically disabled, and description of any security concerns they observe in and around the stadium, including parking lots.
Reports from the app may include a text description of the problem, a GPS map of the problem location, and photos. Users of the ELERTS app may report issues in seconds, with the push of a button, providing the Bills security team with real-time insight to a developing situation that can result in a faster, more informed and proactive response.
"Just as ELERTS Corporation makes 'See Something, Say Something' actionable for transit riders in Buffalo, Boston, Atlanta, San Francisco and Santa Clara, the ELERTS Stadium app provides the same capability to football fans in and around the stadium," said ELERTS CEO Ed English. "When fans are able to report problems quickly using the stadium app, security staff can resolve the issue faster." "Adding ELERTS Stadium to enhance our security and event operation makes perfect sense," said Andy Major, Bills Vice President of Operations and Guest Experience. "Most Bills fans already carry smartphones to the games, and ELERTS Stadium will be an easy and proactive option for fans and Ralph Wilson Stadium team members to share and report incidents. The Bills are always interested in making sure that gamedays are a safe and great fan experience, and we are excited to be the first NFL team to partner with ELERTS."
