Three more visitors to One Bills Drive Friday, as the team continues its series of visits from draft eligible players. The Bills welcomed Georgia OLB Jarvis Jones, Oklahoma QB Landry Jones, and Connecticut TE Ryan Griffin to the complex today.
Jarvis Jones is regarded as the top outside linebacker on the draft board this spring. A native of Georgia, he transferred back home to the University of Georgia after starting his career at USC. Jones is 6-3, 245-pounds, and he timed at 4.92 in the 40-yard dash. He had 14-and-a-half sacks for the Bulldogs last season.

There were concerns about Jones' health, after a diagnosis of spinal stenosis four years ago by the medical staff at USC. But Jones has checked out fine in subsequent physicals. Some draft experts compare him to Broncos pass rush specialist Von Miller.
The other Jones, Oklahoma QB Landry Jones, just put on a private workout for the Bills brain trust 11-days ago. Now he's visiting One Bills Drive for more meetings with the coaching staff.
Landry Jones is regarded as a tall pocket passer, standing 6-4 and weighing in at 225-pounds. He played 53 games for the Sooners and started 50 of the over his four year college career. Jones is the Big 12's all-time leader in passing yardage (16, 646). Last season, he completed 66-percent of his passes for the Sooners, and threw 30-touchdowns and 11-interceptions.
NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock has detected some inconsistencies in Landry Jones game, however.
"When protection breaks down and he's got to get to his second and third read, the mechanics start to break down, "Mayock says. " And that is the case with a lot of these kids. I think most of the league is looking at him as a third round guy. I think he's a little better than that because I've seen him play at a higher level."
The third visitor to One Bills Drive Friday is Tight End Ryan Griffin, a native of New Hampshire. He's 6-6, 254 pounds. Griffin caught 116 passes during his college career with the Huskies, which places his 10th all-time in the school record book. He caught a total of 10-touchdowns in his four years at UConn.
