ORCHARD PARK, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced that tickets for the Sunday, December 9th home game-1:00 p.m. at Ralph Wilson Stadium are sold out. The game will be shown on local television.
Russell J. Salvatore of Russell's Steaks, Chops and More guaranteed the purchase of all remaining tickets in time to lift the local blackout. The game will be televised locally on WUTV-TV FOX 29 and throughout the region on local Fox affiliates.
"The Buffalo Bills are very appreciative of the loyalty and support from Bills fans this season, and we especially thank Russell J. Salvatore of Russell's Steaks, Chops and More for his generosity by purchasing the remaining tickets to our game against the Rams," said Russ Brandon, Chief Executive Officer for the team.
"The impact and appreciation from the Buffalo fans last time I did this was amazing," said Russell J. Salvatore. "This is my Holiday gift to them, as they certainly have been more than supportive of me."
At Sunday's game the team will host a variety of activities, including the Buffalo Bills Salute to High School Football Game. The Buffalo Bills will honor the Buffalo Bills/National Guard High School Coaches of the Week for the 2012 season and will name the High School Coach of the Year. In addition, the first 40,000 fans entering the stadium will receive a commemorative Buffalo Bills Hall of Fame Poster saluting the 50th Anniversary of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
On the field, the Buffalo Bills will unveil their new white Nike Throwback Uniforms, patterned after the uniforms worn by the 1964-65 AFL Championship Teams. The Uniforms feature the popular Standing Red Buffalo Helmet.
