The Bills made five roster moves Sunday. Buffalo released four players from their training camp ranks, parting ways with OT Tony Hills, DB Mark LeGree, WR Terrell Sinkfield and DB Don Unamba.
The time that all four players spent with the Bills was brief.
Hills, LeGree, Sinkfield and Unamba were all signed shortly after the club's training camp opened.
None of the four however, could make a definitive move up the depth chart. Hills was sprinkled in for offensive tackle reps with the second unit at times, but never threatened the likes of Thomas Welch and Sam Young.
LeGree, Sinkfield and Unamba never flashed enough for serious consideration either.
Buffalo also will place WR Kevin Elliott on injured reserve after he suffered a torn ACL Friday night against Minnesota per head coach Doug Marrone.
"In the course of the game Kevin Elliott, really a non-contact injury will be out for the year," Marrone said. "He will be placed on injured reserve."
With the releases and forthcoming I-R designation for Elliott, Buffalo's roster will stand at 83 counting Jairus Byrd and Chris Hairston, who do count toward the active roster total.
