The Bills released nine players and placed Mike Caussin on Reserve/PUP to get down to the required 75 roster players by 4 pm Monday.
The players released were the following.

WR David Clowney
DE Sean Ferguson
CB Prince Miller
TE Fendi Onobun
DT Jay Ross
WR Derek Session
DB Nick Sukay
OG Jake Vermiglio
The only former Bills draft choice on the list of releases was former sixth-round pick Danny Batten (2010).
With Caussin going on Reserve/PUP he no longer counts toward the Bills roster total. He will be eligible to begin practicing with the club anytime between the end of Week 6 and end of Week 9 of the regular season. During that window the Bills can make the decision to add him to the active roster or place him on injured reserve effectively ending his season.
