The receiving corps has already seen its first subtraction from the roster as the Bills waived wide receiver Mike Jefferson. Jefferson was signed to the Bills practice squad last November where he remained until the close of the 2008 season.
He was re-signed by the club as a future free agent this past January.
Jefferson was originally an undrafted free agent that was signed by the Dallas Cowboys in 2007.
Reps were hard to come by for Jefferson this week in OTAs with the Bills as he was buried on the depth chart at a position that includes a bounty of veteran talent.
Buffalo now has 10 receivers on their roster, and the team is likely to carry no more than six on their 53-man squad come September.
