Bills release WR Terrelle Pryor

The Bills addition of wide receiver Terrelle Pryor proved to be short lived. Buffalo released the receiver after just two weeks on the roster.

Pryor, 29, appeared in two games for the Bills in Weeks 9 and 10. Though he was targeted eight times he posted just a pair of receptions for 17 yards in the loss to Chicago. He went without a catch in the win over his former team, the Jets, last Sunday.

Last week, the Bills added youth and speed to the roster at the receiver position in the form of Isaiah McKenzie, who was claimed off waivers last week, and calling up Robert Foster from the practice squad.

The Bills were Pryor's fourth team in the last three seasons.

CB Rice added to practice squad

Buffalo added CB Denzel Rice (6-0, 185) to their practice squad Tuesday.

He was most recently with the Cleveland Browns where he played eight games this season playing mainly on special teams. He did post three tackles, an interception and a pass breakup on defense during that time.

Rice, 25, is a former undrafted signing of the Philadelphia Eagles (2015). He's spent time on the practice squads of Houston and Indianapolis, with a couple of call ups to the active roster to appear in seven games with the Texans and Colts, before signing last offseason with Cleveland.
