Shorthanded at the linebacker position with the injury to Ashlee Palmer, the Bills made use of their available roster spot signing free agent rookie Ryan Manalac.
Manalac (6'0", 235) went undrafted last spring after a productive career at the University of Cincinnati. A former walk-on, the Pickerington, OH native was a two-year starter for the Bearcats with experience at both outside and middle linebacker.
It's expected that Manalac will man one of the outside linebacker positions with Buffalo through training camp.
Buffalo now has 10 linebackers on their 80-man roster counting Manalac.
