The matchup
Buffalo takes the national stage for the second straight week, this time for a matchup with the reigning Super Bowl champions. It will be a meeting of two prolific offenses, headlined by quarterbacks Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.
Allen ranks second in the NFL in passing yards (1,589); Mahomes ranks fourth (1,474). Allen ranks fourth in QB rating (113); Mahomes ranks eighth (107.3). Allen has completed 22 passes of 20-plus yards; Mahomes has completed 19.
Both quarterbacks specialize in their ability to allude pressure, evidenced by NFL Next Gen Stats' time to throw statistic. Allen ranks second in the league (3.05); Mahomes ranks seventh (2.94).
