The Buffalo Bills and former Bills receiver Andre Reed partnered with Microsoft Teams to surprise 10 Bills fans with tickets to the upcoming game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
L.A.-based fans were invited to the Microsoft Lounge in Culver City, where they had a special Teams call with Reed. What they didn't know, is that Reed was in the building with a Microsoft Surface Pro, Bills swag and tickets to the game at SoFi Stadium.
"What a great time we had here at the Microsoft Lounge in L.A.," Reed said after surprising the fans. "Bills Mafia forever."
Daniel Godwin, who runs the South Bay L.A. Buffalo Bills Backers, was one of the 10 fans who was invited to the event.
"After pulling into the parking alley, I have no idea what to expect," Godwin said. "But after entering the doors, I definitely remember being impressed by the fusion of a modernized look splashed with a variety of technology/display screens."
Meeting Reed was a highlight for Godwin, who grew up rooting for the Bills in the 90's.
"It meant the world to all of the fans who attended … I don't get star-struck often being in L.A., but I was thrilled to have the opportunity to meet him," Godwin said. "Andre is a very down to earth guy who still loves football very much. … He is true Bills Mafia and is a genuinely-hearted person."
Godwin is excited to welcome the Bills to L.A. and was surprised to find out that he would be in SoFi Stadium to see them in action.
"Complete shock, but the adrenaline was still running through my veins after meeting him," Godwin said on how he felt after receiving the tickets. "I'm very excited to see the Bills play in L.A."
