The Buffalo Bills' AFC Wild Card matchup is set. The No. 2 seed Bills (13-3) will host the No. 7 seed Miami Dolphins (9-8) in next week's AFC Wild Card round. The Bills-Dolphins matchup will be played at 1:05 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 15 at Highmark Stadium.
The Bills took down the Patriots 35-23 at home on Sunday and the Dolphins beat the Jets 11-6 to set up the third meeting this season between the two AFC East rivals. The Patriots were eliminated from postseason contention after their loss at Buffalo.
With the Week 18 victory, Buffalo clinches the No. 2 seed in the AFC. Earlier this week, the NFL approved the plan to potentially host the AFC Championship game at a neutral site.
The Bills would host the AFC Championship if they are matched up against any team other than the Chiefs. A Bills-Chiefs AFC title game would be at a neutral site.
