INDIANAPOLIS – Coming off a career-high season, Buffalo Bills WR Khalil Shakir has agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension that runs through 2029.

Shakir led the Bills in targets (100), receptions (76) and receiving yards (821) in 2024, all career-highs for the 2022 5th round selection. He also posted a career-high four touchdown receptions.

Shakir proved himself to be one of the most reliable receivers in the NFL, dropping just one pass and ranking third among all pass catchers with 597 yards after catch.

Bills GM Brandon Beane confirmed the news during his One Bills Live appearance Tuesday from the NFL Combine.

"We got that finalized today, but I would say the last day or two, you felt like it was trending in the right direction," he said. "We're excited to keep Khalil, here for another four years beyond the one year he had remaining."

Beane added that Shakir earned every bit of the extension with his leadership, hard work and play on the field.

"He just shows up every single day. He's Mr. Dependable. And when the ball is thrown his way, he usually comes down with it," Beane said.
