Bills franchise player Jairus Byrd was only scheduled to arrive in Buffalo Thursday. On Friday he'll be heading right back out of town with his teammates as the Bills travel to the nation's capital for their third preseason game against the Redskins.

On Wednesday Buffalobills.com asked head coach Doug Marrone if Byrd, though not expected to play, would accompany the team on the road trip.
"If he's ready to come on the trip, I'd love for him to come on the trip," said Marrone. "We'll have to see where he's at. He might have to do a couple things with the doctors and physicals and all that stuff that you do and hopefully be able to get that done and if we can we'll bring him on the trip."
Obviously those logistics were effectively scheduled and completed allowing Byrd to join his teammates.
