The Bills have released CB Brandon Burton.

Burton's release gives Buffalo an open roster spot should they need to call up a running back from the practice squad.

Head coach Doug Marrone alluded to that possibility this morning on WGR radio should C.J. Spiller be unable to go. Ronnie Wingo is the practice squad running back.
