For the first time since suffering a cardiac arrest in January, Bills safety Damar Hamlin will be dressed for a regular season NFL game and could see game action today. Hamlin is listed as ACTIVE for Sunday's home game against the Dolphins.
Hamlin played in all three preseason games but has been inactive for the Bills' first three games of the 2023 season. With safety Jordan Poyer missing the game due to a knee injury, the Bills will need extra depth at the safety position. Hamlin finished the preseason with the second-most tackles on the team.
The following players are listed as INACTIVE vs. Miami:
- S Jordan Poyer
- CB Kaiir Elam
- G Germain Ifedi
- T Alec Anderson
- DT Poona Ford
