Ok, to be fair, Dan Leberfeld from Jets Confidential also said quarterback Tim Tebow has also come a long way and works very hard, but Bills fans like to know that there are still dents in the armor. Another thing that Leberfeld said that is music to fans' ears is how badly their right tackle, Wayne Hunter, is struggling, which means Mario Williams and/or Mark Anderson should see a great deal of success against him. Dan was also asked about former Bill Aaron Maybin and how he's looking, and Leberfeld said while Maybin still has that great speed, he still has a hard time shedding blocks.
Bills C.E.O. Russ Brandon also spent some time on The John Murphy Show talking about the highly anticipated "Kid's Day" game, among other things. "The Kid's Day game is one that everyone in the organization looks forward to," said Brandon. It's not only a great way to get fans involved at a young age, but to also create a fun but responsible environment. Brandon also touched on the additions to the team on and off the field and expects meaningful games in December so the team will definitely need the 12th man to show up.
Rookie linebacker Nigel Bradham also talked about the game-day atmosphere and how even the first pre-season game gave him goosebumps coming out of the tunnel. Bradham was asked about the veteran players that he looks up to, and to no surprise he mentioned Nick Barnett. He called Barnett one of the best linebackers ever because of his great hands and great feet and how he takes charge on the field.
