They were both listed as questionable on Buffalo's injury report this week, but WR Marcus Easley and DT Torell Troup have not made the trip to Kansas City for the season opener and won't play on Sunday.
Easley left Friday's practice due to illness. Head coach Chan Gailey had hoped it would clear up before today's game, but it has not as Easley stayed back in Buffalo and won't be available for Sunday's game.
Torell Troup also did not make the trip after his lower back tightened up in practice on Wednesday. He did not practice Thursday and was limited on Friday. His back has not improved enough.
Troup in his second season is an important rotational cog in Buffalo's improved run defense. It's expected that Kellen Heard will have an even larger role in the Bills' defensive line rotation Sunday with Troup not available.
