With a shortage of cornerbacks for Sunday's game the Bills added a cornerback from their practice squad and placed LB Keith Ellison on injured reserve.
Sixth-round pick Cary Harris was called up to the active roster as Buffalo is likely to be without Terrence McGee, who is questionable with a knee injury. Ashton Youboty has already been declared out with an ankle injury.
If McGee cannot play Sunday Buffalo would have just three healthy cornerbacks available for the game at Jacksonville. Promoting Harris, who has spent the first 10 weeks of the season on the team's practice squad, ensures that the Bills will have four healthy corners for Sunday's game.
Ellison suffered a quad injury in Week 8 and has not practiced since. The veteran linebacker is the 12th player to go on injured reserve this season, and the third starter from Buffalo's defense to have his season end early joining Leodis McKelvin and Kawika Mitchell.
