The inevitable finally happened for James Hardy as the rookie receiver was placed on injured reserve Saturday a day before the season finale.
The rookie wideout suffered a torn ACL in the first half of Buffalo's Week 15 game against the Jets at the Meadowlands.
Filling the vacant roster spot is practice squad running back Bruce Hall. Hall was an undrafted rookie free agent out of Mississippi and has been on the practice squad all season.
The elevation of Hall to the active roster could be an indication as to the availability of Marshawn Lynch Sunday.
Lynch is questionable for Sunday's game with a bruised shoulder.
