As the calendar turns to December this weekend, that means playoff football is on the horizon.
At 9-2 and first place in the AFC East, the Buffalo Bills are well-positioned to clinch their fifth-straight division title, which could come as soon as Week 13.
Here's how that could happen.
The Bills can clinch the AFC East in Week 13 IF:
- Bills win vs. 49ers on Sunday, Dec. 1 AND Dolphins lose at Packers on Thursday, Nov. 28
A Bills win + Dolphins loss is the only clinching scenario for Buffalo in Week 13. If the Bills are able to clinch the AFC East title this season, it would mark a franchise record five straight seasons as division champs.
Buffalo hosts the 49ers on Sunday Night Football at Highmark Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m.
