They entered Tuesday night's game against the Titans as questionable. Tonight it was made official. The Bills will be without WR John Brown with a calf injury and CB Tre'Davious White with a back injury.
For White it will be the first NFL start of his career missed due to injury.
White participated in a pre-game workout to test his back injury, but it was evidently not feeling well enough to play as he headlined the Bills inactive list.
The All-Pro cornerback has only missed one game in his NFL career, as he was a healthy scratch in the 2019 regular season finale after the Bills had already clinched a playoff berth.
In an effort to fortify the roster at the cornerback position the Bills elevated rookie CB Dane Jackson from the practice squad and he is active tonight.
John Brown's only missed game last season for the Bills in 2019 was the season finale as well when he too was a healthy scratch. He was limited in practice this week.
The team also called up LB Andre Smith from the practice and he too is an active player tonight.
Guard Quinton Spain was a late scratch after informing the team of a foot injury in pre-game warmups.
Here is the full list of Bills inactive players for tonight's game.
