Jessie Pegula, daughter of Bills owners Terry and Kim Pegula, is heading to the French Open quarterfinals.

Pegula will play world No.1 Iga Swiatek on Wednesday, June 1 at 7:30 a.m. ET. The winner will advance to the semifinals, which will be played on Friday, June 3.

Pegula, who is seeded 11th, fought to beat Irina-Camelia Begu with a 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 win to make it to her second-straight Grand Slam quarterfinal appearance.

Swiatek and Pegula have a 1-1 head-to-head record, and Pegula knows she'll have to play her best if she wants to move on.

With a win, Pegula will be the top ranked US player for the first time in her career.

She has also made it to the doubles quarterfinals with Coco Gauff. The two beat Luci Hradecka and Sania Mirza and will face Anna Bondar and Greet Minnen on Wednesday, June 1 at 9:30 a.m. ET.
