After being honored with his first appearance on the NFL Top 100 list in 2022, safety Jordan Poyer was once again named as one of the top players in the league.
Ranking at 57, Poyer's 2022 performance was one of the best seasons in his 10-year career. In 12 games, Poyer recorded four interceptions, a forced fumble, and eight passes defended. In addition, he made 63 combined tackles and 44 solo tackles. Poyer allowed a first down or touchdown on just 22.7% of his targets faced, good for the second-best mark among qualifying safeties. Poyer is as reliable as they come as the 32-year-old enters his sixth season with Buffalo.
Poyer was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2013 out of Oregon State. He was released, joined the Cleveland Browns and spent four seasons with the team before joining the Bills. In May 2023, Poyer signed a two-year, contract extension with the Bills, ensuring that the safety is sticking around.
The NFL Top 100 will continue to be announced at 12 p.m. EDT up until the top 10 are announced Aug. 7 at 8 p.m. The release show will air on NFL+.
