Bills quarterback Josh Allen is drawing significant attention from the national media through the first month of the season. Allen, the AFC's offensive player of the month in September, spoke with CBS's Boomer Esiason in an 1-on-1 interview on NFL Today Sunday morning. Allen told Boomer about how Kobe Bryant has influenced his career.
"On my away trips I watch the "Muse" documentary that he did," Allen said. "Just the constant aggression that he had. In the fourth quarter when he got that look and the under-bite going, you knew that he was locked in and he was going to do everything he could to win a game. That mindset that I feel I have, I'm willing to sacrifice my body for the betterment of our team. That will never change about me."

CBS analyst Phil Simms also released his list of top five quarterbacks in the NFL and Allen made the list at No. 4.
