The Bills got some welcome news on Saturday. The three players who were in concussion protocol during the week have been medically cleared to play, meaning Josh Allen, Pat DiMarco and Dean Marlowe are all available to play against the Titans in Tennessee on Sunday.
Allen and Marlowe participated in practice on a limited basis on Wednesday and Thursday. DiMarco returned to practice on Thursday and was also limited. All three fully participated in Friday's practice. As of Friday afternoon all three remained in concussion protocol, but all three gained medical clearance from the Bills team physician and the Independent Neurological Consultant heading into Sunday's game.
Head coach Sean McDermott said on Friday that if Josh Allen was cleared from concussion protocol that he would be comfortable starting him in Sunday's game against the Titans.
