February 8 – Vinnie Iyer, Sporting NewsNo. 8 – QB Mike Glennon, NC StateAnalysis: The Bills hired Doug Marrone to be their coach, but that doesn't mean he will take his former Syracuse quarterback, Ryan Nassib, here. Glennon reminds many of the Falcons' Matt Ryan as an ACC prospect with a lanky frame and promising pro-style ability.
February 11 – Russ Lande, National Football PostNo. 8 – QB Ryan Nassib, SyracuseAnalysis: The Bills relax after the Cardinals select Geno Smith as they have been targeting Nassib since Coach Marrone took the job. Blessed with a strong arm, great mechanics and experience running the offense the Bills will run, Nassib should be able to start as a rookie and hit the ground running.
February 14 – Peter Schrager, FOXSports.comNo. 8 – QB Geno Smith, West VirginiaAnalysis: In a draft considered very light on quarterback talent, don't be shocked if at least three still go in the first 10 picks. Teams are desperate to find the signal caller of the future. New coach Doug Marrone coached Nassib at Syracuse and there will be a bit of an expectation for him to go the Mike Sherman/Ryan Tannehill route here. Buffalo has needs all over and there's still some hope Ryan Fitzpatrick transforms back into his September-November 2011 form, but I think they go Geno. There's a misconception that Smith is a running quarterback. He's not. He's a big pocket passer who played in cold weather in his first three years at WVU.
February 15 – Josh Norris, NFL.comNo. 8 – WR Cordarrelle Patterson, TennesseeAnalysis: Patterson is a natural receiver when adjusting to targets and is extremely dangerous with the ball in his hands, but he needs refinement. He only spent one season at the FBS level, but Patterson's smooth and fluid style is very promising.
February 21 – Bucky Brooks, NFL.comNo. 8 – QB Mike Glennon, NC StateAnalysis: The Bills could elect to take a wide receiver or inside linebacker, but nabbing a franchise-caliber quarterback is GM Buddy Nix's priority in this draft. Although Glennon is a limited athlete prone to making mistakes under duress, he is an A-plus arm talent with tremendous potential.
February 21 – Mike Tannenbaum, NFL NetworkNo. 8 – S Kenny Vaccaro, TexasAnalysis: George Wilson was just released and Jairus Byrd does not have a contract. They've struggled defending the New England Patriots with Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski, so I am taking Vaccaro. This is a guy that can blitz. He can cover the slot. He's a great athlete.
February 22 – Scott Pioli, NFL NetworkNo. 8 – DE Bjoren WernerAnalysis: They have a number of needs as well. This gives them a pass rusher and a high-motor guy. He's going to be the Bills' guy.
February 23 – Charley Casserly, NFL NetworkNo. 8 – WR Cordarrelle Patterson, TennesseeAnalysis: Patterson becomes your No. 1 receiver in Buffalo. You put Stevie Johnson in the slot and all of the sudden you have a passing attack going. But you still need a quarterback.
No. 8 – DE Dion Jordan, OregonAnalysis: The Bills need someone opposite Mario Williams. Jordan is long, lean and has rush skills like Aldon Smith.
February 25 – Jay Skurski, Buffalo NewsNo. 8 – WR Cordarrelle Patterson, TennesseeAnalysis: Positional need grew larger with the departure of David Nelson. Patterson's got limited major college experience but has the measurable teams like. Sunday's 40-yard dash time of 4.42 seconds a great sign for his chances of being the No. 1 receiver selected.
February 27 – Tony Pauline, USA TodayNo. 8 – QB Geno Smith, West VirginiaAnalysis: Geno Smith, West Virginia: Smith's solid combine workout makes the Bills feel confident about his big upside.
February 27 – Don Banks, SI.comNo. 8 – QB Geno Smith, West VirginiaAnalysis: With a 4.56 time in the 40 at the combine, Smith proved he's in the ballpark with Colin Kaepernick and Russell Wilson when it comes to speed, whether he's considered a "running" quarterback or not. The Bills simply have to find an answer at quarterback, and I don't know how they pass on Smith, who at least gave himself a shot to go in the top 10 with a solid showing in almost every respect in Indianapolis.
February 27 – Doug Farrar, Yahoo.comNo. 8 – DE Dion Jordan, OregonAnalysis: The Bills have spent a great deal of money on their defensive line, but Jordan is a rare, outlier sort of player. He needs strength and leverage help, but he's versatile enough to play at end and outside linebacker, and can cover slot receivers in a pinch.
February 27 – Gil Brandt, NFL.comNo. 8 – DE Dion Jordan, OregonAnalysis: The Bills need defensive help. Jordan (6-6 1/4, 248), who really looked good, should be able to provide some. One thing to pay attention to: He's going to have surgery to fix a torn labrum.

Manuel this week — but I still think Geno's the guy.
