Coming out of this week's NFL Combine, national media make their predictions for the Bills and the 2019 NFL Draft.

No. 9 – WR D.K. Metcalf, Mississippi

The Bills would like to find a big, fast wide receiver and they don't much come bigger or faster than Metcalf.

No. 9 – WR D.K. Metcalf, Mississippi

Metcalf lived up to his reputation as a beast (6-3, 228 pounds) at the Combine with his blazing 40-yard dash time (4.33), high number of bench-press reps (27) and amazing vertical (40 1/2 inches). He is a classic size/speed prospect, and then some. The Bills could use the best wideout in the class to help Josh Allen.

No. 9 – WR D.K. Metcalf, Mississippi

do you do when you invested in a franchise QB who can throw the ball a mile, but struggles with underneath stuff? Why, you get him a WR who can run a mile, even if he's not the most polished route runner or agile athlete out there. Plus, Metcalf can always learn to be a more well-rounded player with time.

No. 9 – T Jawaan Taylor, Florida

As more teams stack their NFL draft boards, evaluators say Florida's Jawaan Taylor is the consensus top tackle in the 2019 class. Taylor, who played right tackle at Florida, is seen as a plug-and-play protector on the right side. Now that Khalil Mack and Von Miller are rushing off the right-hand side of offensive lines, there is value in that. Much like Mike McGlinchey going at No. 9 overall last year, Taylor could go in the top 10 as a right tackle. The Buffalo Bills have a number of needs and could prefer a wide receiver, tight end or pass-rusher here, but protecting quarterback Josh Allen has to be atop the front office's list of priorities this offseason.

No. 9 – WR D.K. Metcalf, Mississippi

Metcalf was the darling of Indianapolis with the body of a superhero action figure and unfathomable testing numbers. The Bills need some talent on the offensive line, but they're in desperate need of playmakers. With his speed and ability to go up and high-point the football, Metcalf would be a perfect fit for Josh Allen.

No. 9 – WR D.K. Metcalf, Mississippi

The market for wide receivers got a bit more intriguing over the last week, as Ole Miss' D.K. Metcalf put up ridiculous numbers in Indianapolis. … Metcalf's 4.33 time in the 40-yard dash, 27 bench-press reps and 40.5-inch vertical jump were among the best numbers in each category for wide receivers, as Fox Sports NFL pointed out: … Metcalf has to be considered as a top-10 pick by teams in need of wide receivers. … The team to watch for Metcalf is the Buffalo Bills, who need to bolster their receiving corps for Josh Allen's second year under center.

No. 9 – WR D.K. Metcalf, Mississippi

Metcalf blew the roof off of Lucas Oil on Saturday by tearing apart his jumps and runs. The issues with Metcalf now stem from his agilities, but I really wouldn't worry about it. Metcalf shows enough functional play strength and lateral mobility to defeat press coverage and I think he's got plenty working for him as a route runner. His potential is through the roof good and his speed/vertical skills are a great match with QB Josh Allen's game.

No. 9 – WR D.K. Metcalf, Mississippi

Metcalf owned the combine -- he put up 225 pounds 27 times, he ran a 4.33 40 and he cemented his place as the No. 1 wide receiver. The Bills and quarterback Josh Allen desperately need a deep threat and Metcalf checks all those boxes and then some.
