MOCK DRAFT WATCH: 1.0 | 2.0 | 3.0

[**

February 27 – NFL.com, Daniel Jeremiah*](http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/mock-drafts/daniel-jeremiah/190602)
No. 9 – WR Mike Evans, Texas A&M*
Evans put on a show in Indianapolis and his blend of size/speed would fit nicely in Doug Marrone's offense.

**February 27 – WGR 550, Joe Buscaglia***
No. 9 – T Jake Matthews, Texas A&M*
The Bills will just wait to see how the top eight unfolds and then select the best player on the board. The Bills are going with the run-heavy philosophy with EJ Manuel at quarterback, which could make right tackle a much bigger value in their eyes. Matthews is a technically sound, under control offensive tackle that can play at a high level on both sides at tackle. This would be considered a "safe" pick, because you know exactly what you're getting in Matthews. He would slot in immediately as the starting right tackle, and could shift over to the left side if Cordy Glenn ever struggles.

**February 27 – USA Today, Nate Davis***
No. 9 – WR Mike Evans, Texas A&M*
The 6-5, 231-pounder could be the perfect solution to Buffalo's passing woes. Most importantly, he'd be a major upgrade in the red zone for a team that didn't have anyone catch more than three TDs in 2013.

**February 26 – CBS Sports, Rob Rang***
No. 9 – LB Anthony Barr, UCLA*
Given the talents of Mario Williams and Marcel Dareus, it might not appear to make sense for the Bills to continue to add to their defensive line but the road to the AFC East title still is predicated on stopping Tom Brady. Barr's length and athleticism make him a potential Pro Bowl edge rusher. Those don't last long on draft day.

February 26 – SI.com – Chris Burke](http://nfl.si.com/2014/02/26/2014-nfl-mock-draft-greg-robinson/4/)*
No. 9 – TE Eric Ebron, UNC*
What seems to be the likely loss of Jairus Byrd could force the Bills to hunt for a Round 1 safety, either here or after a trade down. Yet, sooner or later, this team needs to find more oomph on offense — EJ Manuel's future depends on it. Ebron would offer a dynamic option in the passing game.

**February 26 – Bleacher Report, Matt Miller***
No. 9 – LB Khalil Mack, Buffalo*
The story sounds too good to be true: local college player stays in town to be the outside force the Buffalo Bills need. But if Khalil Mack is available at pick No. 9, he should be the man for the Bills as they look to catch the New England Patriots in the AFC East.  Mack has the edge ability to be a force for the Bills in passing situations, but he also showed good ability when unprotected against the run. Mack will struggle when asked to cover-up (line up in front of) the tackle, but that's not his game. He's a weakside linebacker with pass rushing skills and the instincts to dominate.  A young roster in Buffalo breeds the type of "best player available" pick that this is, and it would work well for helping to complete the team's defense.

2nd – G Xavier Su'a-Filo, UCLA; 3rd – S Ed Reynolds, Stanford; 4th – QB Logan Thomas, Va. Tech; 5th – LB – Jordan Zumwalt, UCLA; 6th – WR Cody Hoffman, BYU; 7th – DE Taylor Hart, Oregon

**February 24 – SB Nation, Dan Kadar***
No. 9 – WR Sammy Watkins, Clemson*
The Bills have added a lot of talent at wide receiver in recent seasons, but still don't have that true No. 1 player. Watkins represents that and is somewhat of a steal at this point.

**February 24 – MMQB, Peter King***
No. 9 – WR Sammy Watkins, Clemson*

**February 21 – NFL.com, Bucky Brooks***
No. 9 – TE Eric Ebron, UNC*
The Bills offense features intriguing weapons on the perimeter, but a threat down the middle would take the passing game to another level. Ebron is an athletic playmaker with the size and speed to overwhelm defenders between the hashes.

**February 21 – CBS Sports, Pat Kirwan***
No. 9 – T Greg Robinson, Auburn*
Robinson got a glowing report from a former NFL line coach who worked with him recently and may eventually be the first tackle taken.

[**

February 20 – CBS Sports, Rob Rang*](http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/mock-draft/expert/rob-rang)
No. 9 – T Jake Matthews, Texas A&M*
Cordy Glenn has quietly starred at left tackle, but upgrades could be had at right tackle and left guard. Matthews warrants a top 10 grade in part because of his versatility. Powerful and technically sound, Matthews is as pro-ready as it gets.

**February 19 – CBS Sports, Dane Brugler***
No. 9 – TE Eric Ebron, UNC*
The Bills need to add a big, physical presence in the receiving game, whether at wide receiver or tight end. Ebron is a freak athlete who will instantly help the Bills offense and second-year quarterback EJ Manuel.

**February 19 – NFL.com, Matt Smith***
No. 9 – LB Khalil Mack, Buffalo*
From Buffalo to Buffalo; Bulls to the Bills. They're building a scary defense in Buffalo and it gets scarier with a talent like Mack. I still think Eric Ebron is a very real possibility here.

**February 19 – SI.com, Don Banks***
No. 9 – WR Sammy Watkins, Clemson*
The Bills hit on both Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin in last year's draft, so receiver isn't a top priority in any scenario. But the way this board breaks, with the draft's two best offensive tackles and two best linebackers already gone, Buffalo's best choices in terms of need might be Michigan tackle Taylor Lewan, North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron or a top-rated safety like Ha Ha Clinton-Dix of Alabama. But either the explosive Watkins or the big-bodied Texas A&M receiver Mike Evans would be another weapon in second-year quarterback E.J. Manuel's arsenal, and there's no such thing as overkill in that regard.

**February 17 – Josh Norris, Rotoworld***
No. 9 – T Jake Matthews, Texas A&M*
EJ Manuel obviously should receive another season as the starter. With that said, there might be questions beyond that point. Head coach Doug Marrone has a history with the offensive line. I am a big fan of Cordy Glenn, and it appears teams view Jake Matthews at multiple spots along the front five. Some have mentioned Matthews could make a move to center. It could be true, but I do not think a team will be in a position to take Matthews if they want to do so as a center.

**February 14 – Sports on Earth, Mike Tanier, Russ Lande and Dan Pompei**

Mike Eric Ebron The Bills already have several pieces of what could become the NFL's fastest offense in place. Ebron gives them a long, lean seam-stretcher in the middle of the field. Send Ebron, Steve Johnson and Marquise Goodwin on vertical routes, and not only will EJ Manuel have plenty of bomb targets, but every C.J. Spiller draw play becomes a frolic through the open countryside.
Dan Taylor Lewan If they want to develop EJ Manuel, they have to start by getting him some protection.
Russ Greg Robinson If young quarterback EJ Manuel is going to develop, he needs better protection. Robinson gives the Bills a good right tackle in 2014. With Cordy Glenn developing into a top left tackle, Robinson could give the Bills a pair of bookend offensive tackles to protect Manuel for the next decade. Not many massive offensive tackles move as easily on their feet as Robinson. Combine that with his strength to dominate and torque defenders off their feet, and he has all the tools to be a frontline player.

**February 12 – NFL.com, Daniel Jeremiah***
No. 9 – WR Sammy Watkins, Clemson*
In this scenario, the Bills couldn't pass up the most dynamic offensive player in the draft.

**February 11 – CBS Sports, Pete Prisco***
No. 9 – LB C.J. Mosley, Alabama*
They need speed next to Kiko Alonso. Mosley will be a 10-year starter.
