March 1 – Daniel Jeremiah – NFL NetworkNo. 8 – T Lane Johnson, OklahomaAnalysis: Selecting Johnson would allow the Bills to slide Cordy Glenn to right tackle, where he could quickly establish himself as an annual Pro Bowler. Johnson put together one of the best offensive linemen workouts I've ever seen. However, he isn't just a workout wonder; there is plenty of good tape to support his status as a top-10 pick in this draft
March 5 – Charles Davis – NFL NetworkNo. 8 – G Chance Warmack, AlabamaAnalysis: There's some sentiment for a quarterback or wide receiver here, but the guard from Alabama improves the pass and run games. Warmack's one of the best overall players in this draft class.
March 6 – Todd McShay, ESPN.comNo. 8 – T Eric Fisher, Central MichiganAnalysis: Offensive tackles get bumped down a bit if Lotulelei goes No. 1, and that's the case in this scenario. But some teams have Fisher higher than Joeckel, so Fisher could go as high as No. 1 overall. He also could go to the Jaguars at No. 2, the Raiders at No. 3, the Eagles at No. 4, the Lions at No. 5 … well, you get the picture.
If Fisher falls to No. 8, the Bills shouldn't think twice. He becomes the long-term answer at left tackle, and Cordy Glenn moves to right tackle after a strong rookie season.
March 8 – Joe Buscaglia, WGR 550**No. 8 – WR Cordarrelle Patterson, Tennessee
**Analysis: In need of another playmaker at the wide receiver position, the Buffalo Bills use their first pick on a player that could turn in to an All-Pro with the right coaching. When Cordarrelle Patterson gets the ball in his hands and in the open-field, watch out. For his size (6-foot-2, 216-pounds) Patterson has great speed and has tremendous field vision. He's a threat to run reverses, he's even thrown a pass at the college level. A player with this much raw talent doesn't last too long, even though he has only the one season at Tennessee. If the Bills take him, Patterson will work with receivers coach Ike Hilliard intensively, and try to learn the NFL from his old Rock Hill, South Carolina pal Stephon Gilmore.
March 11 – Mel Kiper, ESPN.comNo. 8 – LB Jarvis Jones, GeorgiaAnalysis: Want to guarantee an improvement in your pass rush? Here's your safe pick. Jones has been exceptional for two years now against elite competition, and demands help when he comes off the edge. He's not Von Miller in terms of his athleticism, but he has the chance to produce at a slightly lower level, making him a good value at this slot.
March 11 – Pete Prisco, CBS SportsNo. 8 – QB Matt Barkley, USCAnalysis: They have to get a passer at some point to build this team around.
No. 8 – QB Ryan Nassib, SyracuseAnalysis: Coach Marrone took over a Syracuse program that was 10 and 37 in the four years prior to his arrival and went four and eight in his first year as head coach. Then Ryan Nassib took over as starting quarterback and Syracuse went 21 and 17 over the last three years, which led to Marrone being considered for the Bills job. Now he has the chance to begin another rebuilding project and starts it by drafting Nassib, whom he knows everything about, to be his field general in the NFL.
