OL Green visiting One Bills Drive

For the second time in three days the Bills are hosting a free agent in the hopes of improving their offensive line. Buffalo welcomed free agent offensive tackle Cornell Green to One Bills Drive Monday.

Green (6'6" 315) is a 10-year NFL veteran that has played both left and right tackle in his career. He's spent the last three seasons playing mostly right tackle for the Oakland Raiders. Green has also played for Tampa Bay and Denver in his career. He was also on the roster of the New York Jets for his first two seasons in the league, but did not appear in any games.

Set to turn 34 before next season Green made 12 starts last season for the Raiders, missing four games in the middle of the season after suffering a calf injury in Week 4 against Houston.

The experienced lineman has appeared in 89 games and made 46 starts in his NFL career.

Buffalo is looking to fortify its tackle situation after the sudden retirement of Brad Butler earlier this offseason. The Bills currently have just two experienced tackles on their roster in Demetrius Bell and Kirk Chambers.
