Chris Murphy- Your first year at LSU was the worst under Les Miles, but your senior year you made it to the BCS National Championship Game. What was the experience like?**
Ron Brooks-Outcome wasn't what I really wanted it, but we accomplished a lot so in that spect I was proud.
CM-Your home stadium at LSU has been known as one of the craziest atmospheres in college football. Do you have any favorite memories from Tiger Stadium?
RB-When we played Florida it was probably one of the loudest games I can remember, and we won.
CM-This is your first season in the NFL, and your first Training Camp. How has the transition from college to the NFL gone for you?
RB-Definitely tough learning curve wise, and just going through what rookies go through, which is making mistakes. I am just trying to stay on top of my playbook
CM-Besides LSU, who were some of the other schools you were considering?
RB-TCU offered me, but I probably would have gone to Arkansas. My friend and I always talked about playing at the same school, so if not LSU, Arkansas.
CM-What drew you to LSU?
RB-I wanted to major in business, and they had a great business program. It also didn't hurt that they had a great football program.
CM-You grew up near Dallas. Were the Cowboys your favorite team when you were a kid?
RB-No, not my favorite. Whoever my Dad was playing for was my favorite team.
CM-Was football your favorite sport when you were a kid?
RB-Always. I think I came out with a football. I've always been around it.
CM-Did you or do you have any players in the league you look up to or try to model your game after?
RB-I was always an offensive player, so I would watch Emmit Smith, Michael Irvin, and Terrell Owens.
CM-Excluding Tiger Stadium, were there any other stadiums that you enjoyed playing at while at LSU?
RB-My top three were probably Florida, Alabama, and South Carolina.
CM-What was your reaction like when the Bills drafted you in the 4th Round?
RB-I was excited. I didn't know where I was going. I heard a lot of different things, but I just tried to stay positive, and focus on the good. When I got picked up, I couldn't do anything but smile.
CM-Being from Texas, you probably haven't played in a lot of cold weather. What is the lowest temperature you have played in for a game?
RB-Around the 50s, nothing like what it gets down to around here.
CM-Do you have any other hobbies besides football?
RB-I like to watch the cooking network, and I also like to cook whatever I'm in the mood for really.
CM-Favorite vacation spot?
RB-I never really took a lot of vacations when I was younger, but there are a lot of places I am looking forward to seeing.
CM-Do you have a favorite artist or singer right now?
RB-Future, 2 Chainz, Rick Ross, and Cash Money.
CM-Describe Chan Gailey in one word.
RB-Observant. Just really observant. He just sits back and watch what is going on.
