RB Anthony Allen released

Orchard Park, NY – The Buffalo Bills today announced that the team has released RB Anthony Allen.

Allen (6-1, 223) is a former seventh-round pick of the Baltimore Ravens (2011). In his first two NFL seasons he appeared in 21 games serving mostly on special teams. He did log 19 carries for 69 yards and a touchdown between the 2011 and 2012 seasons. He was signed as a future free agent on Jan. 14.
