The Buffalo Bills had a player make the decision to leave training camp. Reserve safety Mana Silva, who had been running with the second team defense, left the team at St. John Fisher Monday.
No word from the team as to the reason why Silva decided to leave training camp. The Bills applied for an exemption with the league for Silva's roster spot and it was granted Tuesday.
Silva had a couple of stints on Buffalo's practice squad over the past two seasons.
With Silva no longer on the roster it opens the door wider for players like draft choices Duke Williams and Jonathan Meeks. First-year player Dominique Ellis is another who figures to benefit from the void left by Silva.
