Bills head coach Sean McDermott gave details Thursday on the extent of the injuries for both safety Jordan Poyer and wide receiver Marquez Stevenson.
Poyer (elbow) and Stevenson (foot) both left Tuesday's practice early and needed to undergo further evaluation. For Poyer, the good news is that McDermott said the All-Pro safety's elbow injury wasn't serious.
"It's going to be some days here, maybe a week or two," McDermott. "We'll just see, he's a tough guy."
McDermott didn't give a specific return date for Poyer but said he will have a clearer timetable in the next few days as Poyer progresses.
For Stevenson, McDermott said the WR will be out "weeks" and added it was unfortunate because Stevenson was having an impressive training camp.
The Bills are in Day 9 of training camp Thursday and then head back to Orchard Park on Friday to participate in the Blue & Red Scrimmage at Highmark Stadium.
