Bills kicker Stephen Hauschka has put together a heck of a year. On Wednesday he was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in Sunday's resounding 41-10 win over the Jets.
Hauschka had a pair of field goals including a season-long 54-yarder and five extra points in Buffalo's 31-point victory this past Sunday.
The veteran kicker is having one of his better seasons. He's currently tied for the fifth-highest field goal percentage in the league at 93.8 percent.
He's hit his last 15 consecutive field goal attempts, with his only miss coming in Week 1 on a 52-yard attempt.
This is Hauschka's third Special Teams Player of the Week award of his career. He won one previously for the Bills for a Week 3 performance last season in a win over the Denver Broncos.
