Buffalo has drafted Georiga center/guard Sedrick Van Pran-Granger in the fifth-round with the 141st overall pick of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Here's three things to know about the newest member of the Buffalo Bills.
1. A consistent player
Van Pran-Granger was a key piece to Georgia's offensive line over the last three seasons. The offensive lineman earned a starting job in 2021 and led the team in snaps played that season. He finished his collegiate career with 44 consecutive starts.
Van Pran-Granger is 6'4 and 298 pounds. He is known for his strength, which will translate to the NFL. He also boasts strong hands and can keep pass rushers at bay. Van Pran-Granger is solid in the run game as he uses his body to get defensive linemen out of the way.
2. A decorated collegiate career
The center earned first team All-SEC in his final season with the Bulldogs. He also earned second team All-American honors in 2023.
In 2022, Van Pran-Granger earned second team All-SEC honors. One of his best accolades came in 2023 as he won the SEC's Jacobs Blocking Trophy which goes to the conference's best blocker.
3. Known for his leadership
Van Pran-Granger earned his title as a team captain due to the way he connects with his teammates. He was a team captain in 2022 and 2023.
According to The Athletic's Dane Brugler, coaches love the way Van Pran-Granger leads and believe he's got a high football IQ.
