Bills safety Donte Whitner was greeted by a long line of fans when he made a special appearance at the Verizon Wireless Kiosk in the Galleria Mall on May 28th. Whitner happily signed autographs, took pictures and greeted fans to promote his online game "So You Think You Know Donte."
Whitner gave fans complimentary 8x10 action photos, Bills tattoos, Bills stickers and Verizon Wireless cards. He signed everything including cards, pictures, posters, jerseys and even the shirt on the back of one fan. Fans were genuinely excited to have the opportunity to get up close and personal with Donte.
"It's fun to interact with the fans like this and I'm glad they're excited about the season because we are too," said Whitner. "Fans are getting to learn even more about me by playing "So You Think You Know Donte."
The online game allows fans to guess Donte's responses to questions asked by emcee John Murphy, Bills play-by-play man. Fans can win hundreds of prizes, including a meet and greet with Donte at Training Camp.
Beginning May 29th, fans can play "So You Think You Know Donte" and have the opportunity to win tickets to the Bills home opener vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Ten lucky winners will be awarded this prize.
Fans can win other great prizes such as autographed memorabilia and team merchandise. Fans can use the "Tell a Friend" link to get their friends to sign up and have a chance to win even more prizes. There are also incentives to play multiple times where fans can win prizeboard tiles.
The grand prize winner will receive a VIP meet and greet with Donte at the Bills Verizon Wireless Training Camp.
