Booker Edgerson, Defensive Back #24 (2010 Inductee)
Played eight seasons for the Bills from 1962-69... He had six interceptions in his rookie season, including two in his first game and was named to the AFL All-Rookie Team... Edgerson made one of the greatest defensive plays in Bills' history in San Diego in 1965, when he chased down the fleet WR Lance Alworth after a 65-yard gain at the three-yard line and forced Alworth to fumble into the end zone. Bills LB John Tracey recovered for a touchback. The game ended tied, 20-20... Edgerson finished his Bills' career with 23 interceptions and two touchdowns... Also played one season in Denver (1970) and retired following the 1970 season... Winner of the Ralph C. Wilson Distinguished Service Award in 1993.
