1. RB Raheem Blackshear - #35
He's certainly caught the eye of Bills fans through the first two preseason games. Blackshear has put his explosive burst on display when given the opportunity. It's a crowded running back room and will take an all-world effort from the undrafted rookie the move up the depth chart.
2. DT Brandin Bryant - #93
On the practice squad for most of last season, Bryant has raised the mental side of his game according to defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier and it's made a difference in his play. Could he push the Bills brass to keep five defensive tackles?
3. S Damar Hamlin - #31
The hard-nosed Pitt product just comes out every day and grinds. He's the kind of gritty player that Sean McDermott covets. Staying assignment sound and making a play or two on the ball will only reinforce his spot on the roster.
4. DB Cam Lewis - #39
Now entering his fourth NFL season, Lewis has seen an expanded role on special teams this preseason as well as some snaps at safety in addition to the ones he's received at outside corner and in the slot. The defensive staff is making an effort to justify a roster spot for him.
5. TE Quintin Morris - #85
The former wide receiver has noticeably advanced his game at the tight end position. Already blessed with good hands, Morris has diversified his abilities and has a good chance to carve out a spot on the 53-man roster.
