Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass has won the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month after an impressive start to the season.
In Buffalo's three September games, Bass has converted on all seven of his FG attempts and all 10 of his PAT attempts. Bass has made both of his attempts from 50+ yards, including a 50-yarder with :02 remaining in Week 1 to tie the game and force overtime.
In Week 3, Bass came up clutch with three made field goals in the first half amidst the rainy conditions in Washington, including a 54-yarder. After three games, Bass leads the AFC with 31 points.
The fourth-year kicker signed a contract extension in the offseason, tying him to Buffalo through 2027.
This marks the third time Bass has been the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month in his career. He won the award in November 2022 and October 2021.
